Basics
Full Name: Ted “Teddy” Remus Lupin
Played By: Ben Barnes
Birthdate: 21st April 1998
Blood: Pureblood
Physical Description:
Height: 5’8
Weight: Light for his height, lean and thinly built, like his father
Hair Color: Changeable (Metamorphmagi)
Eye Color: Changeable (Metamorphmagi)
First Impression: At first glance, Teddy is quite a tall and gaunt man, who looks far older than he is – except one major difference. His hair. Teddy often wanders around with brown hair, looking like a younger version of his father (or so he is told by those people who knew Remus Lupin), otherwise his other preferred hair colour is bright, shimmering blue. Most of the time he generally looks well, if slightly drawn, but there are times (once a month, incidentally,) when he suddenly looks ill, and drawn. When you first meet him he looks awkward and almost mean, but there seems to be no ill-will to anyone, despite how he may look. He seems to have many friends, all who seem to know him well; old acquaintances and the suchlike. He seems to have no friends of his own age, either they are younger or older than him – sometimes with an astonishing gap. He is known for being close to the well-known Potter and Weasley families, and it is almost common knowledge that the great “Boy Who Lived” became his godfather. It is scary that it has become equally well-known that his parents died during the Battle of Hogwarts, and that his mother was widely regarded to be the youngest Auror in the history of the Ministry. He generally wears comfy clothes, except when he's assisting in Defense against the Dark Arts, where he wears robes.
Hogwarts Specific:
House: Gryffindor
Wand: Yew and Dragon Heartstring, 12 inches
Pet: None
Personality: (200 words min)
Teddy is loyal and kind, generally. He’s loyal to those who earn his loyalty, and this could be through many ways; from just being there when things get tough, to putting themselves in the firing line for him (which he’d NEVER allow anyone to do – if he’s got to face adversity, he’d rather face it himself than risk someone getting hurt for him.) He cares deeply for those he calls friends, and would put himself in a position of certain death to save them, if he had to (despite it being hypocritical of him.) However. Teddy is also quite volatile. If you do something that rubs him up the wrong way – don’t blame anyone else for what is to happen. Teddy has a rather aggressive streak (which also sees him becoming far stronger than usual (in both senses of the word)) and can have a rather sharp sense of humour. This has always been put down to his Werewolf blood – but he isn’t so sure. After the aggression and power, he is incredibly remorseful, and he often shuts himself away from the world for up to three hours straight, to calm himself down and stop it from reoccurring. It frightens him to be in such a way, but he has found that sometimes, just sometimes, there are people prepared to help him through the worst of it.

ISTP: As an ISTP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion.
ISTPs have a compelling drive to understand the way things work. They're good at logical analysis, and like to use it on practical concerns. They typically have strong powers of reasoning, although they're not interested in theories or concepts unless they can see a practical application. They like to take things apart and see the way they work.
ISTPs have an adventuresome spirit. They are attracted to motorcycles, airplanes, sky diving, surfing, etc. They thrive on action, and are usually fearless. ISTPs are fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make their own decisions about their next step. They do not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit their ability to "do their own thing". Their sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes ISTPs prone to becoming bored rather quickly.
ISTPs are loyal to their causes and beliefs, and are firm believers that people should be treated with equity and fairness. Although they do not respect the rules of the "System", they follow their own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. They will not take part in something which violates their personal laws. ISTPs are extremely loyal and faithful to their "brothers".
ISTPs like and need to spend time alone, because this is when they can sort things out in their minds most clearly. They absorb large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sort through those facts, making judgments, when they are alone.
ISTPs are action-oriented people. They like to be up and about, doing things. They are not people to sit behind a desk all day and do long-range planning. Adaptable and spontaneous, they respond to what is immediately before them. They usually have strong technical skills, and can be effective technical leaders. They focus on details and practical things. They have an excellent sense of expediency and grasp of the details which enables them to make quick, effective decisions.
ISTPs avoid making judgments based on personal values - they feel that judgments and decisions should be made impartially, based on the fact. They are not naturally tuned in to how they are affecting others. They do not pay attention to their own feelings, and even distrust them and try to ignore them, because they have difficulty distinguishing between emotional reactions and value judgments. This may be a problem area for many ISTPs.
An ISTP who is over-stressed may exhibit rash emotional outbursts of anger, or on the other extreme may be overwhelmed by emotions and feelings which they feel compelled to share with people (often inappropriately). An ISTP who is down on themself will foray into the world of value judgments - a place which is not natural for the ISTP - and judge themself by their inability to perform some task. They will then approach the task in a grim emotional state, expecting the worst.
ISTPs are excellent in a crisis situations. They're usually good athletes, and have very good hand-eye coordination. They are good at following through with a project, and tying up loose ends. They usually don't have much trouble with school, because they are introverts who can think logically. They are usually patient individuals, although they may be prone to occasional emotional outbursts due to their inattention to their own feelings.
ISTPs have a lot of natural ability which makes them good at many different kinds of things. However, they are happiest when they are centered in action-oriented tasks which require detailed logical analysis and technical skill. They take pride in their ability to take the next correct step.
ISTPs are optimistic, full of good cheer, loyal to their equals, uncomplicated in their desires, generous, trusting and receptive people who want no part in confining commitments.

Family History: (200 word min)
Teddy was brought up by his grandmother, Andromeda, after both his parents dies in the Battle of Hogwarts. Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin had only recently become parents to Teddy when Tonks was killed by her aunt, Bellatrix, and Remus was killed by Dolohov. Teddy had been left with his grandmother, and after the battle, she refused to let Teddy live with his godfather, Harry Potter. His grandfather, Ted, who he had been named for, had died a month or so before Teddy was born, and Teddy became his grandmother’s only source of comfort – as she had lost both her husband and her one and only daughter, but the fact he transformed into a werewolf every month was something Andromeda had never coped with before. She enlisted the help of Harry, as she hoped he had seen how Remus had coped with his transformations, and he gave her what little advice he could. Him and Ginny, who were dating, were regularly around to see Teddy, and they were welcome faces at the Black/Lupin household. As Teddy grew older, he became seen more around Harry and Ginny’s house, coming over to dinner around four times a week! Andromeda did not wish to see her only daughter’s son leave her life completely, so she kept a rather large hold of him until he was eleven. He's attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry since 2009, over which time he learnt a lot about his parents and what type of people they had been. He learnt why he had the ability to metamorphose and why he was a werewolf, aided by Professor Neville Longbottom, his Head of House, who was more than happy to tell him what brave people his parents had been. He wishes he had met his parents, and he spends most of his time sitting and thinking of how his life would have been had they survived the war. He grew to want to be like them, but he admits that he had many flaws – such as the inability to control his temper, and the clumsiness that seemed to follow him around. However, he had formed in his fifth year, a very strong friendship with a third year girl whom he had known for many years, Victoire Weasley, daughter of Bill and Fleur. He's spent years perfecting all the Defence Against the Dark Arts techniques he has learnt at Hogwarts, and other techniques he had found from some of his parents’ books from when they were at school, and one of his mothers’ from her Auror training, and used these to his advantage. He gained Head Boy status, and he hopes to apply for the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor when the current one leaves. Harry had told him how hard his father had found it, following his “condition”, but Teddy is determined. He's not going to let his parents down. He gained the position of DADA Assistant, and is hoping that when the teacher retires soon, he'll gain it.
Brief Roleplay Sample:
Teddy walked down the Halls of Hogwarts, knowing the exact route he was taking. It seemed like only yesterday he had set foot in the Castle for the first time, and had been ushered into the Great Hall for his Sorting. He remembered the day with such sadness, actually, with every other student writing to their parents, telling them which House they were in, and how proud they were that they were in that House and why. Teddy hadn’t. He’d had to settle for telling his grandmother and godfather…who, let’s face it, were great sources of kindness and comfort (especially Harry,) but who weren’t exactly the parents Teddy had wished he’d known. They were always ready to help out if things went awry – but Teddy really didn’t want it. He was in the position he was in for a reason. Something had caused him to lose his parents; something wanted him to go it alone…but why? Why had his mother run to fight in the war when it could have been won anyway? Why, when he had all the support he needed, did he feel so alone?! He lashed out with his fist, and feeling the sudden throbbing pain in his hand, he knew he had hit the wall with more force than intended. Seeing the shocked faces of other students, he blinked and walked away, faster than normal. He knew why his mother had done what she’d done. She had been an Auror, and it had been her job to protect the world. She had done her duty, and paid the highest price, he thought, as he inspected his hand.
It was grazed, the blood beginning to flow from his knuckles. Great; the whole House would know that the Head Boy had a temper problem; if they didn’t know already. He tensed slightly. He was sure that he’d lose his badge if his Head of House saw it…sure, it was only Neville, and he wasn’t a bad bloke, but he didn’t want to risk it. He took a detour from the route he usually took to the Common Room, and passed the same piece of wall three times. A door appeared and he seized the handle. Closing it behind him, he looked at the room. The same as usual. That was good, something usual. He began to calm himself down, wondering why he had got so fiery…
