I cannot believe we all forgot to start an "Introductions" thread!
So here we are!
I'm Josée, but Jet fits me nicely. I play Teddy Lupin and Sara-Louise Thompson. I am fifteen years old at the moment, and in 8 months, that'll change. I do a lot of HPRPs, and currently I am an active member on four HPRPGs, and on one Non-HPRPG. Secondary Admin Member here ^_^, Admin on another, and Moderator for one forum, on yet another site. This is the fifth or sixth HPRPG I'm been involved with, so I'd say I'm pretty experienced, but I definitely still have an awful lot to learn.
I live in the UK, and I have just finished my penultimate year of compulsory education, and am very, very tentative about the new school year in September! I used to play the steel pans and I can play the basic scale on a recorder. I can also play [albeit not well - and definitely not the bass stuff] the piano.
I am an active thespian, currently doing my fifth performance with my drama group, and I've had a couple of main roles - Sandy in Grease and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. If anyone wants to see me dressed as Dorothy, PM me on either of my accounts, and I'll post them up somewhere. I adore music and I sing for pleasure. I tried singing lessons and found it took all the fun out of singing, so after three months, I gave up.
My first RP character was called "Jet", (my initals, how imaginative was I when I was eleven?!) "Jet" was originally a fun RP character of mine on a site which wasn't particularly RP literate. Jet was the first character I ever RPed with. She was the character that got me into RPing as a pastime. Over time, someone I RPed with wanted to write a story about his character and Jet, and wanted to know her real name and surname. On a whim I said she was called "Jeanette" and shortened it to "Jet" so people remembered it, and that her surname was "Reynolds". Hence, how my second ever RP character, "Jeanette Reynolds" came to be.
After Jet's site died away, I decided to search for other RP sites. Eventually, Jeanette became a character in herself, rather than a whim on a not specifically RP fluent site; on another Harry Potter RP site. She was almost a self-insert of me, except she was far more judgemental than I [think] I am, and she was incredibly prejudiced. In the end I hated her character, and she went on an indefinite hiatus. I then joined another HPRPG site, and found that I enjoyed playing Nymphadora Tonks, which didn't surprise me at all. One look at my clumsiness, and you lot'd know why! Eventually, on that site, I played four characters. Tonks, Sara-Louise Thompson, aged 16 (yes, the very same Sara you see on this site - except she's aged hugely XD), Aminta Esperanza (who was a ghost aiding the Order after being killed by the Death Eaters the night Harry entered the Graveyard with Cedric) and finally, Charlie Weasley. I went on to play Tonks on two other sites, and thankfully all of them have disregarded Deathly Hallows (YAY!) and I was offered the chance to play Teddy on here. This is the first time I've ever played a male charcter for more than a few months (Charlie's site has only just returned from a hiatus) and the only time I've ever played Teddy. So, if he isn't what you thought Teddy would be like, I'm sorry. I really am. But, I think you'll like this Teddy, I hope! ^_^
