Basics
Full Name: Scorpius Hypherion Malfoy
Played By: Jesse Mccartney
Birthdate: November 2nd 2006
Blood: Pureblood
Physical Description:
Height: 4'4"
Weight: 70
Hair Color: White-Blonde
Eye Color: Light Grey
First Impression: When someone first meets Scorpius, they're first thought is that he is a carbon copy of his father, Draco Malfoy. However, on closer reflection, Scorpius has a more thoughtful gaze and an overall quieter attitude. He stands out in a crowd and not just because he is dressed head to toe in the finest threads available, but he gives subtle signs of his being uncomfortable and not belonging. While he tends not to look around, his ramrod straight spine and otherwise stiff posture indicates that, even if all eyes are not on him, he feels as though they are.
Hogwarts Specific:
House: Slytherin
Year: First Year
Wand: Elm with a unicorn hair
Pet: A trained Falcon named Merlin
Personality: Scorpius is an unnaturally reserved boy for his age. He is not apt at making friends easily and is extremely wary of strangers. He is quick to judge and although he does not look it, is highly stuborn. He stongly feels that his good opinion, once lost, is lost forever.
Scorpius essentially feels like an alien most of the time unless around his family. Aside from his father, he feels disconnected with all those around him. While he understands that people will judge him based on his name and his the sins of his family's past, he wishes to be judged on his merits and his merits alone. However, he realises that that is a remote possibility and is resgned to living a life where he can never be sure of his friends or enemies and which categories they fall into.
Scorpius is aware that on occasion, he can be somewhat arrogant and conceited. He attributes that to being his father's son and is neither ashamed or proud, but merely accepting. He is comfortable having power over others and is allright with fading into the background. He is averse to others having control over him and will go to all costs to avoid a situation where he is the inferior from happening.
While Scorpius is confident of his skills and various talents, he is somewhat shy and awkward about displaying them. He will, if pushed, come out of his shell but reluctantly. He does not like to make a spectacle out of himself and only when he is doing something he is supremely onfident in (Such as discussing Potions) will he show off a little bit.
Scorpius understand the idea of Slytherin politics. While he does not wish to have it become something he has to engae in on a daily basis, he is bokk looking forward to and apprehensive about the environment in the Common Room. He is sure that he will thrive in the battle of wits but at the same time finds it hard to ignore the seeds of doubt in his mind.
One of Scorpius' greatest talents is his abilty to detach from any scenario. He is intelligent, though not overly so and considers himself more street-smart than book smart.

Brief Roleplay Sample:
Scorpius idly reached up a slim, pale hand to straighten his tie. He felt, more than saw his father’s frown and immediately dropped his hand. They had already discussed his complaint that his new robes were scratchy and Draco had simply given him one of his looks. This time is was the Your Clothes Are Hideously Expensive So Stop Whining Look. On Scorpius still continuing to fidget, his father had placed a comforting, warm hand on his shoulder and quietly assured him that if they still itched after he had reached Hogwarts, he would send a new set of less itchy ones with Merlin as soon as possible. His father’s face when he said the word itchy was rather priceless and Scorpius refrained from chuckling. They were in public now, in the middle of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and it was probably the worst time to receive the Malfoys don’t Giggle Lecture.
The younger blonde grimaced. The last time he had received that was right outside the Ministry of Magic, where his father had embarrassedly dragged him out of by the elbow, after a 5 year old Scorpius had loudly asked him why the Kingsley Shaklebolt was hairless.
“Surely they are not that uncomfortable, Scorpius?”
His father must have seen the look on his face. He immediately smoothed the disgruntled expression and adopted a cool mask of nonchalance. His transition between faces was nowhere as good as his fathers, but Draco assured, with practice, it would become better.
“No, Father, it’s not the robes.”
“Hmmm. Well let me know if something’s bothering you.”
Scorpius almost told his father the truth at this point. Ever since he was born, he and Draco never kept secrets from each other. Draco said that Lucius had always kept him in the dark and he’s hated him for it. Lucius Malfoy was Draco’s father and by default, Scorpius’ grandfather. But Draco never called him that Grandfather, as if he wanted to ensure that Scorpius and Lucius had no familial connection.
The real reason was that he was a tad bit nervous about his Sorting. If all went well, he would be sorted into Slytherin and his father would be proud of him. On the other hand, he could not be sorted into Slytherin.
And that was terrifying.
