Personality: (200 words min)
Sara is a very complex character. She hasn't had the easiest of lives - her father having been killed by the Death Eaters after he deserted them after the First War. She had to come to terms with this at Hogwarts and as such, was very quiet and opened up to very few people. Now that she has left Hogwarts after being involved in the Second War, she has grown up and learned how to put things in the past. She is loyal to those she cares about, so her friends from Hogwarts always have someone to turn to, no matter how long they've been apart for. She is caring and she never wants to see people in pain, be that physical or emotional. She's quite a happy woman, though she seems to be quiet and subdued; she will always try to brighten the day up rather than make people feel down or alone. Finally, she has a hatred for Death Eaters, the only group of people she can truly say she wants to see annihilated. She saw them kill so many people at the Battle of Hogwarts that she can never fully forgive them for the horrors they created.

Family History: (200 word min)
Sara-Louise was born in a small town in Norfolk to Sarah Louise Jenkins and Edward John Thompson. Both her parents had been at Hogwarts, though her mother was Muggleborn - thus meaning that (in the eyes of the Death Eaters) Sara-Lou is a halfblood. Her parents has been at Hogwarts at the same time, and in two different houses. Her mother was in Gryffindor, and her father was a Ravenclaw. However, Edward mixed with the Slytherins as they adored his knowledge and used it to their advantage (think homework and revision.) In turn, Edward was more and more involved in the groups they were involved in - and this lead to him being inaugurated into the Death Eaters alongside them at 18. He had believed that muggleborns were unworthy and had gone along with this ideal his whole life.
However, things changed. He was returning from a mission he'd been sent on when he spotted a young woman he recognised from Hogwarts. He had always wondered who she was, and now he had the perfect time to find out more about her. Slipping out of his Death Eater garb, he joined her and they spoke for a long while. They were both intrigued by one another and they started to date.
However, he was now playing with fire. He deserted the Death Eaters, knowing his (now soon to be) wife was Muggleborn and ran away to Norfolk. They were fine for three years, and after the first, Sara-Louise was born. When Sara-Louise was two, her mother went out one evening, and left husband and child alone in the house. Her father put Sara-Lou to bed and then went to bed himself in the opposite room.
This was a mistake. Death Eaters had finally found out where their traitor had gone, and tracked down the house. Three of them entered and quickly and easily murdered Edward. As they went towards Sara-Louise, they heard the Muggle sirens and fled. Sara-Lou has nothing to show than a small scar in the shape of a bird (regarded as a phoenix) on her wrist. It does nothing, except during her Hogwarts' days, it reminded her of her constant battle to fly away into the open and fly out of her fears.
Her mother returned to find the police and other services at the house, and they handed her a letter they had found next to Edward's unscathed body. As she opened it, she found a note written in what looked like blood. "You'll Be Next" were the only words on it, and a scrawled picture depicting a mother and child. Many years on, her mother still believed they would be attacked.
As Sara grew up, she knew nothing of this night and her mother would skirt around the subject when Sara brought the topic of her scar up. It was not until her third year at Hogwarts, that she realised how she got it - thanks to her then Head of House, Professor Minerva McGonagall.
She entered Hogwarts at 11 and her family moved to London. She was widely regarded as the most quiet Gryffindor they had had for many years. She got on with her work and made no friends. She was not the cleverest student, but she knew how to do the work she had to. She constantly carried a drawstring bag around with her, holding a piece of purple silk wrapped around a photo album. This album contained all the photos of her father and she carried it wherever she went.
Nothing much happened in her second year, she studied and worked and that was about all.
In her third year, she was called to McGonagall's office. Here, she found out the true circumstances surrounding the reason why her dad was not around. She was handed newspaper clippings and other such like and Sara found it hard to come to terms with this news. She wrote many letters to her mother asking her why she hadn't been told and she felt betrayed. She had lived for thirteen years believing that her father had left the country without her and her mother, and then suddenly she'd found out he'd left more than just the country! She never spoke to her mother as trustingly again.
Her fourth year was full of moping around. She spoke to no-one about her discovery and she made a distinct effort to hide away wherever possible. However, whenever new students entered that she hadn't met before, she'd talk tot hem and find out about them. This somehow made her very popular with the younger students and she actually felt like she was more accepted. The cowardly Gryffindor was gaining a less cowardly reputation.
This lead to Sara being elected Prefect in her fifth year. Here was the year where she finally met people she felt she could open up to, two of whom became almost her best friends - Vincent and Shaun. She opened up to these two more than she had opened up to anyone in her past, and she felt like for once, people actually cared about how she felt and that she was someone that people actually did like. She sat her OWLs this year and did relatively well. She was proud of herself and she loved every minute after she received the results. However, Dumbledore died that year and she felt a distinct loss at such a wonderful teacher. She returned to Hogwarts hoping that things could get better.
Her sixth year was her most overactive. She was just getting ready to start her NEWT work when the Second War began. The Carrows took over the school and Sara was one of those who sought refuge with Neville in the Room of Requirement. She had been trying to do whatever little things she could to stop the suffering of the other students - but she knew she had to watch out for herself, too. Being anything but a pureblood meant hassle. When the fighting began, Sara stood with her housemates, desperate to avenge her father and to finally put her demons to rest. She saw so much horror that night that her father's death was overshadowed. The only good thing was that the people Sara cared about were not injured, and that was the only thing that kept her going. Eventually, once the victorious side (hers, thankfully) had been ascertained of their win, she went back into the ruins of Hogwarts and helped to rebuild it. Most of the school was okay, so they continued their lessons and Sara returned for her final year.
She passed her NEWTs relatively well, receiving A's and above. She became more outspoken and she tried to make as much difference as she could. She left the School and found that her friends had deserted her, going off into their own careers and leaving her to do what she wanted. She decided to head to the Ministry and she spent her time there working wherever there was a gap. She moved between departments’ day in and day out and eventually decided that that was not the job for her.
She rented a house in Hogsmeade - to see the Hogwarts kids going around the village, to be honest - and she made herself a home that she was proud of. It was only a bungalow - but - let's be serious, who, living on their own, needs more than that? She moved to St. Mungo's after eight years of grafting at the Ministry and adored it. It was the one thing she had always been keen to do - help people.
She stayed there for eight years, until she found herself being drawn back to Hogwarts. She missed the milling around and the students who were always coming up with new and ridiculous ideas. After much deliberation, she went to see her old Head of House, who she found to be Headmistress. After explaining her position and her previous work, McGonagall agreed to hire her as another School Nurse. This was on the basis of that (at Hogwarts) there can never be too many medical staff, and that if Madam Pomfrey ever wanted any time off, she could take it. Plus, she agreed that it'd give Sara a whole new view of Healing. Sara knew that sometimes she'd be run off her feet, but she was more than grateful that she had been given the job. She quit from St. Mungo's but she is still proud of her work there. She now lives at Hogwarts, so that she can be called on at any time of day or night, and she's now hoping she will recognise children of people she once knew.

Sara-Louise walked down the long dusty Hogsmeade road. She watched, smiling as group upon group of Hogwarts students left the numerous shops and chattered incessantly. How she had adored those Hogsmeade trips, laughing with the small group of friends she had. And there, over on the hill, there was Hogwarts. She looked at one Tower. The Astronomy Tower. Many nights had she spent up there, and many nights she had sat alone - except one. She smiled broadly as she reminisced about meeting Vincent in there, and how she'd opened up to him so quickly about her father's death. She shook her head, good times. Where was he now? What had he got up to? She was sure she'd passed him a few times, but she couldn't just walk up to someone and go "Sorry, but did I used to know you from Hogwarts?" She'd look an idiot and sound like a stalker. She shrugged to herself. Life goes on and people move away, she thought sadly. Everyone else had got their own jobs and own lives and, let's face it, she wasn't needed to interrupt in the paths they were paving for themselves.
She thought though, it would be nice to catch up with the others one day. She then nodded decisively. She would track down all the people she used to know, and call them to a party - held at her house, of course - and have a big catch-up on everyone else and what they'd got up to after Hogwarts. It'd be hard work, she thought. But it'd be worth it!
Walking down the high street, she turned off, and unlocked the door. Placing her heavy coat and boots by the door, she walked through a door on her right. She was now in her living room, and she turned the Wireless on. Slouching back on her sofa she sighed gently. After a week's work with ill and injured people; she deserved a rest. She laid down, her long black skirt hanging gently down to the floor, and pulled a cover from behind the chair. Laying it over her, she stifled a yawn and closed her eyes. No doubt, she thought, she'd be dreaming of reunions.
