Basics
Full Name: Christian Renaldi
Played By: Ewan Mcgregor
Birthdate: July 1st, 1994
Blood: Half-blood.
Physical Description:
Height: Six foot even.
Weight: 165lbs
Hair Color: Dark brown.
Eye Color: Blue.
First Impression: When adults first meet Christian, they see a very model student and intelligent human being. They immediately notice his polite manners, cool attitude, and likability. However, when a fellow peer meets him, they see a philosophical and artistic person. They look over his manners and will automatically describe him as weird or eccentric because of the odd things he does on a day to day basis.
Hogwarts Specific:
House: Ravenclaw
Year: Sixth
Wand: 11 inch, phoenix feather core, Willow.
Pet: A barn owl named Saraswati.
Personality: (200 words min)
Once a person gets past Christian’s external personality (which is their first impression), they find that he’s very intuitive, creative, and innovative. When presented with a problem, be it social or personal, he will look at it from all angles before deciding on the best solution. He’s often seen simply observing people and their actions, as if he’s trying to classify them. However, he’s really just interested in the human psyche. Christian likes to see himself as unique, and to live up to that he often does strange things, like balancing books on his head or studying upside down or things like that.
In social situations he is very kind and polite – earning him valuable friends in the long run. He trusts people almost instantly and believes highly in the saying “innocent until proven guilty”. But, even then, he still stands behind his friends. Because of this they try to stand his oddities. Christian also has strong, core values that he sticks to on a daily basis, and they are only wavered when he experiences something truly moving or someone has provided a very convincing argument against him.
Another unique thing about him is that he can be very philosophical. Though he is only sixteen years old, his teachers find that, when he needs to, he can put things into a perspective no one had ever thought of simply because he thought it all the way through. However, he can often get lost in his thoughts and emotions.
Overall, Christian is like an amoeba. He is unique in his own way but he can fit into virtually any crowd of people. He values success and lives life in good faith. He is a good problem solver and he lets his intuition and instincts guide him.

Family History: (200 word min)
Parents: Joshua and Elizabeth Renaldi
Siblings: A baby sister named Trina.
Extended: Papi Rudy, a few unmentionable cousins, and that’s about it.
On July 1st, 1994 a young, newly-wed couple was blessed with a beautiful baby boy. As the new mother held her creation, the baby opened his sparkling blue eyes and looked up at her curiously. Tears streamed down her face. The father, bewildered at such a wonderful thing, held his wife in silence. Together they watched their new child quickly fall asleep in her arms, his soft breath barely felt on her skin.
“Christian,” the mother whispered. “His name will be Christian.”
Two years passed and the child that seemed like such a blessing at birth suddenly turned into a frightening little monster. His screeches could be heard throughout the neighborhood as the still new parents tried helplessly to silence him. Christian sat in his high chair, mouth wide open, wailing for something neither parent could understand.
“What do you want, baby?” his mother cooed in despair. “Mummy doesn’t understand what you want.”
“MEWANNACWACKAH!!” young Christian slurred. “CWACKAHNOWCWAKCHANOW!!”
“Okay, okay, just calm down!” his father cried, giving Christian a few crackers from their cabinet. “Please, just calm down!”
The two year old smiled happily and the screams instantly stopped. His parents sighed in relief and plopped down in seats by their table, immensely glad that they finally figured out what their child wanted.
Before young Joshua and Elizabeth could even blink, three more years had passed and their terrifying two year old was now a very quiet, curious five. His clear blue eyes surveyed the world in wonderment, always absorbing their surroundings and trying to make sense of things. Questions flew out of his mouth instead of screams – but they weren’t questions normal five year olds were asking. They were deep and meaningful.
“Papi Rudy, what’s love like?” Christian asked his grandfather. They were sitting together at home, watching a strange Muggle show about building homes.
Papi Rudy looked down at his grandson curiously, as if he didn’t know how to respond. “Well, that’s a strange question for you to be asking, Christian,” he said slowly. “What makes you ask that?”
“I heard a girl and a boy talking about it at the park when mommy took me. I asked them too, but they couldn’t tell me.”
Papi Rudy heaved a sigh. “Well, m’boy, love is very powerful. It’s a combination of all the emotions a person could feel, like happiness, sadness, and things like that.”
“Oh.”
Six years later, on Christian’s eleventh birthday, he received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was there that young Christian actually started developing his identity. He became eccentric because he liked the attention he got from people. He grew into a mediator because he didn’t like his friends to fight with each other. He studied hard every year because he loved learning.
Now he’s in his sixth year, still studying hard and everything.

The Great Hall glimmered beautifully in the light of the sun that day. Clear skies promised a good Quidditch match, delicious treats provided stamina for the day’s tasks, and wonderful friends meant fond memories for later. Christian, however, sat alone at the Ravenclaw table. His friends hadn’t woken up yet and he was awfully hungry that morning, so there he was, eating eggs and bacon by himself. He didn’t mind it though. Eating in solitude allowed him to think clearly about abstract things like he always did. He could freely express his feelings to empty space without receiving judgment from it. He enjoyed it.
Soon after, though, familiar voices grew nearer and Christian was forced to contain his thoughts in his already crowded head. His friends sat around him and jabbered sleepily, apparently still waking up to the day. A cloud rolled by above them. Christian immediately joined in on the conversation with a cheerful “hello” to his friends.
“Chris, dude, how the bloody hell are you always so… awake in the mornings?” his friend Tobias asked as he filled his plate with food.
“I don’t know, I guess I just am,” Christian replied with a smile. “Besides, I do get better sleep than you guys.” He chuckled as Tobias rolled his eyes. “Anyway, did you guys ever figure out that riddle that Professor Lupin gave us during class the other day?”
“I don’t even remember what the riddle was,” Lilly said through a mouthful of food.
“It was a question: What is the meaning of this song?’” Tobias replied. “And then he played some really weird Muggle song for us that didn’t make any sense. It’s not that interesting. The riddle, I mean. I think it’s kind of dumb. But whatever. I blame it on early morning lessons.”
Christian laughed at Tobias’s remark, but his mind was working furiously. He remembered the lyrics of the song after having it played over and over again for him. He loved solving riddles. So he sat in silence the rest of the morning and through the afternoon, mulling over the words and thinking hard on what they meant. He was on the verge of giving up when it suddenly clicked in his head.
