HOGWARTS: REOPENED

After a long delay due to lack of teaching staff, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has finally reopened it's doors. However, many students and their parents will be particularly surprised at who will be teaching our youngest and most impressionable youth.

It seems that Headmistress Minerva McGonagall has completely restructured the school. All four houses have been restaffed, and while most of the staff appears to be rather adequate, there are, as always, questions as to why they were chosen for their positions.

To start with, it's obvious why Neville Longbottom was chosen to be the new Gryffindor Head of House. Professor Longbottom has been teaching Herbology for several years at Hogwarts, and though he lives above the Leaky Cauldron, he has gained himself quiet the reputation as being a very good example of what a Gryffindor truly is.

Another, more then adequate, choice is Susan Bones who is taking Hufflepuff Head of House. Ms Bones is making quite the name for herself a lot like her Aunt. Molding young minds, her Aunt would be so proud! The Daily Prophet is excited to see what this aspiring woman will do with the House of Hufflepuff.

Mr. Boot, however, is a rather odd choice. Terry Boot has not gained nearly the reputation of the two above, nor does he seem to be as qualified as his predecessor. With this said, the Daily Prophet highly doubts that he was simply chosen for his good looks. We're sure that he will prove himself to be a worthy member of the Hogwarts staff.

This leads us to the choice of Head of Slytherin. Theodore Nott has a name and a history that is, at the very least, highly suspect. His father is a known Death Eater currently residing at Azkaban Prison, which is of deep concern to those of us at the Daily Prophet. We couldn't find out much about him personally, as all his records from Hogwarts are not available to the media, and he hasn't really done anything since then. His appointment is, by far, the most curious.

Another interesting thing to note is that all four Heads of House were in the very same year at Hogwarts themselves. It wouldn't surprise this reporter if this was done on purpose.

Whether or not these decisions will benefit the youngest of our population is yet to be seen.

AZKABAN BREAKOUT

A month before Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry finally reopened a small breakout of Azkaban prison took place. Although the Ministry of Magic is still running checks over the prison's inmate list, the following prisoners have been found missing so far.

Augustus Rockwood
Yaxley
Travers
Amycus Carrow
Alecto Carrow
Dolores Jane Umbridge

The Minister was unavailable for comment, however the Head of the Auror office informs us that all necessary steps have been taken. When asked what was going to be done he had this to say.

Quote:
“The Dementors who used to guard Azkaban have been removed ever since Voldemort‘s demise. We have a new task force of Aurors that are trained for the job of guarding the prison. Regarding the escaped convicts- we have pulled two of main task forces from the office to begin searching as well as upgrade security to the prison to insure this does not happen again. Let the wizarding world feel safe. These people will be found and put back where they belong. --Mr. Potter, Head of the Auror office.

Potter has been working hard with the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, who was also unavailable for comment, to insure that his word remains true. Aurors have been dispatched to Azkaban for extra guard while the renovations take place. The Ministry wants to insure that these dangerous criminals will be caught but until that time to remain aware that they are out there. Should you come across any one of the six listed above please send word immediately to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
